The Aggie Exercise Physiology Club provides students majoring in applied and clinical exercise physiology an opportunity to meet and listen to prominent people in the allied health science professions and provide insight into possible career paths. We also strive to provide financial assistance to members who wish to present research at or attend professional conferences such as those put on by The American College of Sports Medicine and The National Strength and Conditioning Association. By participating in the organization, students gain experience in organizing such events as the annual Emma Gibbons Fitlife Fun Run and provide community service through staffing local health fairs. Membership in the organization also fosters closer relationships among Texas A&M students and professors in the exercise physiology fields.
