As part of our commitment to "Transforming Lives" in Texas, the nation, and the world, the Department of Health & Kinesiology encourages students to participate in study abroad opportunities.
The Study Abroad program embraces the spirit of Texas A&M University to require value added off-campus opportunities for all students. Plus the chance to live and learn in another country gives our future leaders first-hand experience in new approaches to problems, so to better understand and find solutions.
We have some programs that include trips lead by faculty during the summer months. Study Abroad prepares students from Texas A&M to relate to other cultures while giving them real world experiences in the customs of others who they will be interacting with after college. And it's a lot of fun!
The College of Education and Human Development (CEHD) supports opportunities for students to expand academic horizons through global education experiences. Programs offered may last from one week to as long as a year. For more information about the opportunities available to students, including travel scholarships and programs offered, visit the CEHD Global Education page or contact Alice Zhang, Program Coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
