Division of Sport Management

Texas A&M's Division of Sport Management prepares is regarded by its peers as one of the best programs of its kind. Here, we prepare students for a career in sports, from program directors, to marketing and promotions, corporate sales, sporting goods, community programs, athletic directors and business managers and agents.

Sport management encompasses a variety of professions.

The mission of the division is to provide a professional education in the classroom, combined with real world opportunities with cutting edge organizations in the form of internships to produce the future leaders of sport. Students get a real world approach to learning and also have the opportunity to study abroad. Recent trips have included Germany, Greece and Trinidad and Tobago.

Our former students are everywhere. From professional (NFL, MLB, MLS, NBA) and amateur sports (Little League), media relations (ESPN, Fox Sports, Comcast), college sports (NCAA, Cotton Bowl) and organizations that raise money for others (Shriners Baseball). Many undergraduates have gone on to professional school to become professors or lawyers.
