B.S. in Sport Management
B.S. in Sport Management (Internship)
The B.S. in Sport Management program is for students wishing to study sport management from a business perspective with the goal of entering the sport industry through a field experience.
After the completion of coursework, students are provided with on-the-job experience during a 13-week internship program. The internship is designed to be the capstone experience for students in sport management and to provide them with the opportunity to make application of theories and concepts learned in the classroom in a professional setting.
Additional information about the internship, including guest speakers and internship opportunities, can be found on the Sport Management Internship Program website.
B.S. in Sport Management (Non-Internship)
The non-internship B.S. in Sport Management program is for students pursuing careers as administrators and managers in athletic, health and country clubs, as well as entry-level management positions in college and professional athletic organizations.
