Welcome to the Department of Health and Kinesiology's Program Review website. On behalf of the Department of Health & Kinesiology (HLKN) at Texas A&M University, I would like to thank you for serving on our program review team. This is an important time in the history of the Department of HLKN and your input will be invaluable in helping the Texas A&M University administration understand the scope, impact, and potential for further development of our programs. In addition, your review will help shape our department and college strategic planning efforts for years to come.

Over the last year, we have been working to revise and update our web pages in an attempt to let our students, faculty, colleagues, and the public know about all of our academic, research, and outreach programs. You should be able to gain a sense about our Department, College, and University from the various links available. In addition, we have prepared a comprehensive Academic Program Review (APR) document that provides information about our department, faculty, and students as well as assesses the strengths and challenges of our department. We will be providing you hard copies of these documents. You can also access files of each section of the APR document at this program review website. We tried to compile as much information as we felt you might need to adequately evaluate our programs. However, as you review materials, please let me know if you would like any additional information.
