Graduate Admissions

We are no longer accepting applications for Fall 2013 for the M.S. in Sport Management.

Admission to study for a MASTER'S DEGREE is based on:

  • The applicant's academic record - including an undergraduate grade point ratio (GPR) in the last 60 semester hours 
  • Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores* (not required for MS in sport management or health education programs at this time) 
  • Relevant experience as shown on resume or CV
  • Foreign students whose native language is not English must have a score of at least 550 paper-based or 213 computer-based on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) examination
  • Students desiring to complete a thesis must submit written request to do so in the essay
  • Personal statement of purpose essay
  • Three letters of reference 

Admission to study for a DOCTORAL DEGREE is based on:

  • Students must be accepted by a member of the graduate faculty to be admitted (Please contact graduate faculty directly with whom you are interested in working before submitting your application)
  • The applicant's academic record - including a graduate grade point ratio (GPR) and Graduate Record Examination (GRE)
  • Recommendations
  • Relevant experience
  • Foreign students whose native language is not English must have a score of at least 550 paper-based or 213 computer-based on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) examination.
