CAHRL Students Win Poster Award

herman_and_mbachu

The 9th Annual Pathways Student Research Symposium was held Friday Nov 11th in Rudder Tower.  Undergraduate, master and doctoral students presented over 350 poster presentations from across the TAMU system.

The Child & Adolescent Health Research Laboratory (CAHRL) Poster titled “Parental Factors and Influences on Fruit & Vegetable Consumption Among Children” received a “SUPERIOR POSTER PRESENTATION” award.

This honor is given to the top one percent of posters and presenters conference-wide.  Judging was based on the poster content (the integrity of the science) as well as the presenters’ knowledge and poise during the judging.

The winning students, Daniel Herman and Perpetua Mbachu, both joined the CAHRL this fall, and are

already well on their way to participating in scholarly dissemination of our research!

Please join us in congratulating these very promising young scholars!
